On-site Evaluation for Pilot Printing Companies of Hong Kong

To implement “Print 4.0”, we need to fully understand the smartification level of current production line, so as to set up realistic goal and implementation plan according to individual needs.

As the first step of implementing “Print 4.0”, the project will conduct “real-time printing supply chain” gap analysis, in-depth evaluation of the current operation of Hong Kong SMEs. Steering Committee of the project selects 15 pilot companies from those which completed industry questionnaire survey. Expert will conduct 1 to 2 days on-site assessment for pilot printing companies, provide upgrade plan for smartification. We believe various companies will launch transformation plan according to the recommendation.

Evaluation includes:

•Operation status assessment

•“Analysis of Smart Connection Capability”: gap analysis of the networking capabilities of traditional printing equipment (not equipped with Internet connectivity)

•Exclusive intelligent data collection, analysis and research in the “printing supply chain”
